Despite everything else (mostly University, a little bit work related) being absolutely cray, I have been steadily adding to my Interior Porn files. Not sure what is happening to my aesthetic at present - it seems to be veering off towards industrial, than suddenly swings back to baroque and girly. We shall and see!

Vogue Daily's APT with LSD features have been filling up my inspiration files over the past few months, and the NYC home of Bettina Prentice + co is no exception. While not my usual big, bold and brash style, I do love how she has put together all the different textures into a beautiful, creative space. 10 points for the use of greenery and the tack boarder on the sofa.

Richard Christiansen via NY Magazine

Richard Christiansen is one of the many Australians living in New York, except his apartment is in the Bowery Hotel (or was in 2009 when NY Mag shot the above) and he gets to order room service everyday of the year. Clearly he is winning!

Old world charm clashes with shots of graphic neon, contrasted against those incredible floor to ceiling windows and crisp white walls. The inclusion of velvet in the headboard and chair round out a "Creative-Meets-Gentlemens-Club" setting fit for guests. I love the clash between modern and classic, and the bedroom makes me simply swoon.

Industrial anything has never really been by forte, but lately I am really feeling the lure of polished concrete, chunky timber and steel anything.  Elle Decor once again delivers the goods with Milan apartment.

Plus I really want to know how they managed to get all those puppies looking directly at the camera all at once - something to do with the genius of  André Leon Talley perhaps?
